Greet's everyone... now that the formal intro is out of the way, here's the good stuff!
My name is J.C. Tregarthen, and I wanted to personally thank all of you as well for stopping by and checking out our ongoing rants and thoughts shared here on our new & official "DTR" blog page!
Like my DTR radio / podcast "partner-in-crime" K.C. Murdock mentioned earlier in his note, we welcome you into our entertainment-oriented roundtable of rantings, interviews and light-hearted yet topical discussions that (hopefully) will make you all feel like you are 'in the room' or along for the ride with us during each of our broadcasts... wherever and whenever they take place!
I am very proud to be a part of such a talented and fun-loving motley crew... along with Victor Arzola, Mario Toscano and Kyle Burlington with us in the room, K.C. and I are very fortunate to bring together the "Down The Road" to you all with laughter, informative and positive-minded topical media discussions in mind ~ simply talking about the various things that we like (music, film, TV, food, sports, local happenings, blah, blah, blah...) , things that get us amped up, entertaining projects that are already out there to enjoy in the entertainment cosmos... also those that are coming soon as well.
We in the "DTR" family look forward to the many upcoming plans that we have in store to share with you all soon... including some terrific interviews with some very talented guests (musicians, comedians, artists, etc.), comedy sketches, live and exclusive music performances, various charity events and many other upcoming events that will literally take our show "on the road"... which quite honestly is the whole inspiration of our program and where our name originated since our beginnings in mid-late 2010!
K.C., the guys and I plan to take our broadcasts out and down the road to the masses live ASAP... into your backyards and local happenings, tailgate parties, sporting events, clubs, concerts and social venues, and to get involved in various charity events to help to spread the unique excitement, laughs, memories and social awareness in the most positive and upbeat ways that we can involve ourselves in... whenever and wherever we can.
The DTR show will try best to bring out some of our local talent in various ways, so that we can hopefully help somehow to give some strong and positive exposure and publicity to those who would like to join us during our upcoming broadcasts and appearances. Musicians, actors, comedians, artists and all-around creative types... we'd like much to hear from and meet you soon!
We want to meet and hear from you all, our loyal listeners and friends... so you can be a part of what we're doing and talking about, as we make it happen. Sounds like a win-win, right? Hope so.
How's that for a "mission statement"? Not about us alone, but to entertain you up-front and personal ~ every chance we get, and the very best we can. It's what we and our DTR show are all about. Really.
